Nowadays, the transfer market in football has really gone crazy, 80millions to sign a player?omg, if the money can be used to help those people in Africa who never get to know the feeling of 'full', it's such a great thing. Anyway, I think the word 'money' or 'value' of certain things have changed, is this what we called modern? perhaps everyone has their perspective of valuing things, but this is certainly gone beyond the imagination of me.
Recently, Manchester City has signed several players, Santa Cruz, Tevez, Barry and Adebayor. What the heck, i wonder how the coach will change the formation, most probably like this :
--------tevez----santa cruz----adebayor--------------
------robinho------------------s.w.phillips------------
-------------------barry--------------------------------
--Bridge---------------------------------------richards-
------------dunne--------------kompany-------------
--------------------given------------------------------
and the others like bellamy, bojinov, m.johnson, zabaleta, corluka, benjani and co. they don't even have the chance to play. haiz.
perhaps money can buy victory but not glory. On the other hand, Real Madrid is on the move, they've got C.ronaldo, kaka, benzema and etc...in my opinion, the money used to buy these players can be used to buy a few clubs like Sunderland, Hull City...is it really worth to spend this amount of money like this?
anyway, i love football but nowadays football has completely changed in just few ten years. Money...money...it's all about money. Glory, new challenge and etc are all excuses.

Anyway, and I think within 10 years, the transfer market will be more crazier, perhaps signing a normal player like Babel will cost 40millions. But I'm sure someone will break their(kaka and ronaldo) transfer record, soon.
